Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey and Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp. celebrate 30 years of cooperation
Three decades of experience with the PW100 turboprop
On May 28th, 2018 Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey ("LTAA"), a fully owned subsidiary of Lufthansa Technik AG, celebrated its 30 years lasting partnership with the engine manufacturer Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp. ("P&WC"). The ceremony took place in the Alzey facility, and the senior management of P&WC, LTAA's management and the entire personnel honored this commemorative event with their attendance.
The first engine of the PW100 series of the Canadian engine manufacturer was serviced by LTAA in 1988 for the customer DLT. Since then, this engine family has become a backbone in the service portfolio of the company specializing in maintenance, repair and overhaul of regional aircraft engines within the worldwide Lufthansa Technik network. LTAA is one of the world's largest P&WC PW100 Designated Overhaul Facilities providing repair and overhaul services.
