Engine Lease Services extends its portfolio with 8ea CF34-8C5

Lufthansa CityLine and Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey have signed a lease agreement to market and manage all of the airline's CF34-8C5 spare engines out of Alzey. This opens new opportunities for other airlines to obtain tailored leasing and maintenance solutions for CF34-8C5 engines.

"Technical reliability is a major pillar of our operational success in which our long-standing relationship with Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey has played an important role. Extending this successful cooperation will enable us to further optimize the downtimes of our assets and to reach our goal of full capacity," says Wolfgang Diefenbach, Vice President Technical Operations at Lufthansa CityLine.

LTAA's Head of Engine Lease, Kai Ebach, states: "We are very excited by this move which helps us to strengthen the support to our external customers for CRJ700/900/1000 aircraft with spare engines for short- and longterm leases. We constantly take the opportunity to grow and evaluate our business model including the use of internal group benefits to transfer them to our customers."
