Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey is now maintaining GE's CF34 turbofan family until 2029

GE Aviation (GE) and Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey (LTAA) have entered into a CF34 General Support License agreement  for the entire CF34 turbofan family.  This agreement supports LTAA efforts to provide CF34 engine overhaul services through 2029.

"LTAA, the first independent CF34 overhaul facility in the market, has gained its deep knowledge and extensive experience while maintaining more than 5,000 engines in the past two and a half decades" says Mark Johnson, CEO of LTAA. "This extension demonstrates GE's confidence and further will strengthen the cooperation between GE and the LHT group." Martin Hach, COO of LTAA adds: "It also proves LTAA's commitment to be a reliable and valuable partner to GE and the entire CF34 community around the globe."

"LTAA has proven itself as a CF34 MRO provider," said Phil Wickler. "This General Support License agreement will ensure CF34 operators have an ongoing choice for MRO offerings."
