Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey to maintain PW150A engines for Biman Bangladesh Airlines
Biman Bangladesh Airlines and Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey (LTAA) have signed an exclusive 5 years agreement for the maintenance, repair and overhaul services of the PW150A engines powering Biman's two Dash8-Q400 aircraft. Biman, the flag carrier of Bangladesh, serves major international and regional destinations. Additionally, Biman also serves connectivity to its domestic destinations in Bangladesh and selected regional routes to neighbouring countries with these recently introduced two airplanes.
"LTAA's extensive experience with the PW150A engines, comprehensive services at competitive prices and the known reliability and quality together with a good understanding of the operational requirements of regional airlines made them our first choice after a thorough selection process", Biman is quoted.
