Felix Airways – Yemen signs CF34 Technical Engine Services Agreement with Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey

Felix Airways –Yemen has signed a new contract with Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey for the maintenance / overhaul and lease engine support of its CF34-3B / CF34-8C engines over the upcoming seven years. Respective exclusive engine services agreement will cover Felix Airways’ fleet of 2ea CRJ200 / 2ea CRJ700 and up to 4ea CRJ900 Aircrafts.

“Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey convinced us, that even a large MRO provider could customize its services to the individual needs of a growing carrier who is building a high-frequency operation that requires a perfect reliability”, said Mohammed A. Al-Arrasha, CEO of Felix Airways.

“This new contract is an important milestone to expand our engine MRO business in the Middle East MRO market. Felix Airways will fully benefit from our continuous effort to deliver the most competitive support packages and take advantage of our more then 19 years experience in regional aircraft operation and engine maintenance,” said Joerg Femerling, Vice President Marketing and Sales of Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey.

Felix Airways – founded 2008 and based in the Yemeni capital Sana’a – operates a fleet of presently 2ea CRJ200, 2ea CRJ700 Aircrafts. Additional 4ea CRJ900 will be phased-in starting by 2010.

The range of engine services offered by Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey extends from total engine support to custom repair and overhaul of engines, modules and individual parts; to engineering; to warranty servicing and repairs; to logistical and consulting services. The portfolio includes the PW100 series, PW150, GE CF34-3 /-8 and CF34-10.
