Engine Support for Air One
At the beginning of March, Italian carrier Air One, based in Rome, has signed a comprehensive technical support contract with Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey.
For a period of 16 years, the Lufthansa Technik subsidiary specializing in the overhaul of regional and business aircraft engines will provide comprehensive engine support for the airline’s CityLiner fleet comprising ten CRJ900 jets. The contract, which is based on power-by-the-hour terms, also includes the acquisition of a spare engine from Air One, to be leased back from Lufthansa Technik Airmotive Ireland Leasing.
