Piedmont Airlines signs extended engine service agreement with Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey GmbH
Alzey, Germany (November 16, 2009) - US Airways Express operator Piedmont Airlines, a wholly-owned subsidiary of US Airways Group, Inc., has signed an long-term extension of their major repair and overhaul (MRO) agreement with Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey GmbH (LTAA) through 2022. The agreement covers MRO services for Piedmont’s fleet of Bombardier Dash 8-100 aircraft powered by Pratt & Whitney Canada PW120/121 series engines.
Under the agreement, LTAA will provide repair and overhaul services, logistical and spare engine support, technical training and on-site technical support.
