The aim of the Regional Aviation Association of Australia is to enhance the viability of regional aviation. The RAAA promotes the regional aviation industry and its benefits to Australian transport, tourism and economy among government and regulatory policy makers, monitors government and regulatory authority policy formulation to ensure regional aviation industry association members gain input into policies and decisions which may affect the flying, maintenance and commercial operations of their businessess.

The RAAA Convention plays a very important part getting CEOs of the aviation industry and other senior industry people together with representatives from government, the regulator and the supporting industry.
